“The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness & confidence forever.” - Isiah 3:17

It Starts with God’s Faithful Grace
God’s faithful grace is the foundation of who you are. He created you in His image, reflecting His goodness & carrying His presence into every part of your life.
His grace holds you steady in every season. It’s His steadfast love in motion—meeting you where you are & shaping you into who God calls you to be.
His unwavering faithful grace remains constant through every moment & flows from God’s unchanging goodness.
Through every joy & season, God’s faithful grace affirms, strengthens, & restores you so that true peace lives within you through Him.
God’s faithful grace makes way for the stillness of a quiet heart—one that rests, trusts, & abides in His presence.
The Stillness of a Quiet Heart
As Christian women, we’re filled with quiet stillness because of God’s presence. A gentle calm hovers over every moment, allowing your heart to breathe & relax in His presence.
A still, quiet heart rests in God’s nearness & presence, allowing His love to steady your thoughts, slow your rhythms, & guide you with gentle clarity & wisdom.
From this stillness, every choice flows from abiding in God, every word reflects His love, & each moment becomes an opportunity for you to live faithfully in His presence.
Your still, quiet heart rooted in God’s faithful grace gently bears fruit with calm clarity, steady trust, & a spirit attuned to His guidance.
From the rhythm of your still, quiet heart, your life takes on a gentle flow that mirrors His presence in living peacefully each day: to love God & love people.
“Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from Him.” - Psalm 62:5

A Way of Peaceful Living: Practicing the Way
A way of peaceful living is nurtured through spiritual rhythms. These rhythms provide a practical way to bring the stillness of your heart into everyday life, letting God’s presence guide each moment.
One of my favorites resources is Practicing the Way which offers nine core 'Practices' designed to shape your daily life with intention, love, & presence.
They are:
1. Sabbath - The Sabbath is a 24-hour time period set aside to stop, rest, delight, & worship.
2. Prayer - Prayer is simply the medium through which we communicate & commune with God.
3. Fasting - Fasting is going without food for a set amount of time to awaken our body & soul to our deep hunger & need for God.
4. Solitude - Jesus has an invitation for us: Step away from it all to be alone with him, for the sake of our souls & the sake of others.
5. Generosity - We’re made in the image of a happy, generous God. When we practice generosity, we live according to our design & tap into God’s joy.
6. Scripture - The library we call “the Bible” can connect us to God & change who we are.
7. Community - Through Jesus, we enter a new kind of family that offers intimacy, joy, healing, & commitment.
8. Service - Offering hidden acts of service to those who are right in front of us, allowing ourselves to be interrupted by unexpected needs, & overlapping our lives with those on the margins.
9. Witness – [online practice scheduled for February 2026]. Testifying to God’s truth & sharing His work in our life, often through words, actions, or lifestyle.
Additionally, you can explore the interactive Rule of Life Builder tool to craft a set of habits & rhythms for your life based on the nine 'Practices.'
As I personally explored the Rule of Life Builder, I intentionally immersed myself in Sabbath, Prayer, & Service, allowing these practices to deepen my heart’s stillness & guide the rhythms of my day.
Final Thoughts – Grace in Action
God’s faithful grace shapes a quiet, still heart that flows into every part of life, guiding each choice, word, & rhythm with calm intention. As you embrace the 'Practices' & live from the stillness God provides, your life becomes a reflection of His presence—peaceful, intentional, & full of love.
I’d love to hear which of the 'Practices' speaks most to you.
If you explore the Rule of Life Builder, please share an example of a habit or rhythm you intend to explore.
