"You're strong - for the spirit of God gave us doesn't make us timid, but gives us power, love, and self-discipline."
-2 Timothy 1:7
I vividly remember the sunny morning I woke crying out, "I can no longer live my life this way – something has to change."
It was a moment of complete surrender, a moment when I finally admitted that I couldn’t fix the brokenness in my life on my own. My heart felt heavy, burdened by pain, fear, & an overwhelming sense of desperateness.
But in that very moment, something miraculous happened. My cries were met with the tender presence of the Holy Spirit. It was as if my heart & entire being were gently embraced, filled with a love & peace I had never known before. My pain, which had seemed insurmountable, began to recede. It fell away, like the weight of chains being broken & what remained was the magnificent, peaceful love of God.
That day marked the beginning of a transformation in my life. It wasn’t just about feeling better. It was about being made new – being born again. I discovered that the peace of God isn’t dependent on circumstances or our ability to control them. It's a gift freely given; a love so profound that it meets us in our darkest moments & lifts us into His light.
This is my testimony.
It’s the story of how God’s love reached into my brokenness & began to heal me.
It’s the story of a life changed not by my own strength, but by the grace & mercy of a loving Savior.
What about you? What’s your testimony?
Every one of us has a story to tell.
Maybe your moment of surrender looked different from mine, or maybe you’re still waiting for that breakthrough.
But let me encourage you: God is at work in your life, even in the moments when it feels like He’s silent. Your testimony—the story of how God has moved in your life—has the power to encourage, uplift, & bring hope to others.

Here are a few steps to reflect on & share your testimony:
1. Recall Your "Sunny Morning": Think back to the moments when God’s presence felt real to you. What circumstances led you to that point? How did you experience His love & peace?
2. Recognize the Transformation: How has your life changed since that encounter? What burdens were lifted? What new joys & strengths have emerged?
3. Share Your Story: Whether you write it down, speak it to a friend, or share it with a group, your testimony is a powerful tool for glorifying God & connecting with others. Don’t worry about it being "perfect." Authenticity is what matters.
4. Trust God with the Details: Even if your story feels unfinished, share it. God works through both our victories & our struggles.
Your testimony is uniquely yours, a beautiful expression of God’s work in your life. It’s a reminder that no matter where we are or what we’ve been through, His love is always ready to meet us right where we are.
I invite you to take a moment today to reflect on your own testimony. What’s your story of God’s love & grace? How has He transformed your life? I’d love to hear your testimony & celebrate the work He’s doing in your life.
Let’s encourage one another by sharing our stories of faith, hope, & God’s unchanging love.
